When Van Wijnen came to us, they were ready to fully reimagine how their brand looked and felt. With a fresh proposition built around 'samen maken wij de buurt', they needed a creative partner who could translate that idea into imagery; warm, modern, and unmistakably Dutch. We started with a pilot shoot, and have been working together since.

Bringing the story to life

Van Wijnen wanted to move away from generic construction imagery. The goal was to show real people, real moments, and the kind of warmth you actually feel in a neighbourhood. Human-centered, but with a modern edge that matched where the brand was heading.

Our approach

We started with a pilot shoot to align on look and feel, using that first round as a creative foundation to build on. From there, we rolled out multiple shoots covering their full website and campaign needs. The visual guidelines were already in place, but knowing how to truly nail them; that's where our expertise came in. From lighting to technique to composition, every choice was made with the brand's world in mind.

Behind the scenes

During one of the shoots, a neighbour walked by and asked if she could join the photo. Of course we said yes. The campaign actually wrote its own best scene, and it was all unscripted!
