Celebrating Cinema:
A LAB111 podcast platform
LAB111’s Celebrating Cinema podcast had built a loyal audience as an audio-only series. With the growing reach of the show, the next step was to make the hosts and the cinema itself more visible. Our task was to translate the energy of the conversations into a consistent visual identity, giving the podcast a face and making it a bigger part of LAB111’s film experience.

Bringing the story to life
The podcast already had a strong foundation in audio storytelling. Our task was to expand that into LAB111’s broader brand experience. By introducing photography and video, we created clear visual touchpoints that connected the podcast directly to the cinema space and its programming. This made the podcast a visible part of LAB111’s identity and gave audiences new reasons to
engage—whether that was discovering episodes after a screening or exploring directors and themes more in-depth through the podcast.
Our approach
We began with portraits of the podcast hosts inside the cinema, creating a cinematic look that rooted the podcast within LAB111’s identity. Building on that, we developed short promotional videos to be shown in the cinema before screenings. Each piece was filmed with a minimal setup, using lighting and framing to match the mood of the films being discussed. This way, every episode carried its own subtle layer of visual storytelling.
Behind the scenes
This is an ongoing collaboration that grows with the podcast. Every new episode gives us the chance to refine the style, keeping the visuals fresh while staying true to LAB111’s character.
